I can't adequately describe how I feel about this, really. The 2 times I've talked to him since, I've felt at such a loss for appropriate words, I've felt like an absolute idiot. :-) All I can say is that his dedication to his training was so inspiring that he didn't have to convince me when he asked me to do a triathlon with him and that he'd train me. What else could I say but of course? To me now, and to the little competitive girl that looked up to him when we were growing up and he was into all sorts of sports, that is the opportunity of a lifetime! I CANNOT WAIT, LU!! We are SO on! ING Marathon in January and then any triathlon you want, buddy. I promise to make you at least half as proud as you have made me! I LOVE YOU!! XOXO
