Success! Today we celebrated Dylan's 1st birthday which was actually Friday and it could not have gone any better except had all our invitees been here. Plenty of people showed though (48 total including us 4 - Papi, Mama, Ian, and Dylan), the weather was perfect, the food was great and we all had a good time. We had a massive bounce house with a slide the kids enjoyed so much, I don't think any of them ate, in fact! Anyway, I am left with that great feeling of being complete with something really big and yet of also being sad it's over ... and I don't just mean the party. I still just CANNOT believe he's 1. It went by SO fast! I literally don't know what to do with myself. For now all I can say is that both my boys sleep and I just can't wait 'til they get up in the morning again so I can take in some more time with them and all the joy they bring me and my life. Success indeed, my friends, success indeed!
