The Most Wonderful Thought

While running this afternoon, the most wonderful, matter-of-fact yet centering thought came into my mind and it was simply this: I love Tod and my children more than life itself. And I do, so much so it's kind of hard to say it without it seeming contrived. So allow me to explain.

There's a deep, deep, deep, abiding love here. In a nutshell, I have known Tod since I was 17 (I am 35 so that's more than half my life now), we married when I was 18, divorced when I was 22, he remarried someone else, they divorced 4 years later, we got back together, we remarried when I was 29, and we now have 2 beautiful boys and are happy, successful, in love and inspired. Hello! What's not to love about this whole thing?

Guys, I live a supremely blessed life. A friend the other day said to me, "you know you're living the dream, right?" And I thought to myself for a moment and just had to say "I am, exactly." It's awesome - my life with my Tod and my boys is just the best!
