Nickelodeon's Worldwide Day of Play 2007

Aww, man, I didn't know it was today! Pretty cool idea Nick has ... they did it last year too and the year before that and the year before that. I play with my kiddos outside often though so I don't feel too guilty that Ian is not here to play now and that Dylan is napping. Can we say rock pile, dirt pile, golf cart races around the farm, swinging on swings on the tree outside, planting and growing veggies and herbs, weeding plants, going in the kiddie pool, etc? I love all that stuff and we're out there often and much.

As part of its ongoing commitment to putting kids and their health first, Nickelodeon is sponsoring the Fourth Annual Worldwide Day of Play. On Saturday, September 29, 2007, Nickelodeon will stop broadcasting for three hours (noon-3 p.m. ET) to encourage kids and families to get up, get outside, and play together. Come back to Nickelodeon from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for the finale of the Let's Just Play "Go Healthy Challenge."

Let's Just PlayWorldwide Day of Play is part of the "Let's Just Play" campaign, Nickelodeon's pro-social commitment to encourage kids to participate in active, healthy, and playful lifestyles. To find out more, visit Let's Just Play at Nick.com.
