Shades of Green & Unforgettable Moments
This morning I went to wash a couple of dishes and noticed 2 shades of green on my windowsill, one from my aloe plant and one from my African violet's leaves. You know you're present when you notice such things and are actually moved to tears by them. I felt so lucky to be able to see those colors, # 1, and, # 2, to be so in the here-and-now to actually notice them. It was just one of those moments-in-time you never forget.
And then I was lucky to experience another ... watching my 1-year old little boy running after his 3 1/2 year-old brother just having the time of their lives. "Come and get me, brother!" Ian would say to which Dylan would just laugh to no end as he ran after him. I thought to myself, "Lord, I will NEVER forget this. Thank you!" I am just SO grateful. I really am just blessed amongst humans. :-)
